Guy Goodell has been preaching for over sixty-five years, serving as an evangelist, missionary to foreign countries, planter of churches, and pastor. He has been involved in Christian education for over fifty years, teaching K-12 and at the college and university level. Elise Mansfield, Guy's granddaughter, graduated from the Christian school in Greater Glens Falls Bible Baptist Church. She then attended New England Baptist College in Southington, Connecticut, graduating with a B. A. Degree in Secondary English Education with a Music Minor. Both authors wrote these stories to present to their readers the effects that can occur in one's life by either obeying or disobeying God's word in daily living. While the characters are fictitious, they represent real possibilities in the lives of real people. The authors desire to entertain, encourage, enrich, and evangelize the lives of the readers of these accounts.
