Suspenseful

Great story. A real page turner.

a story of how to love life again

this was my first Elin Hilderbrand book and i really enjoyed it. the story felt real, the characters were deep and genuine. i will definitely look for more by this author. this story follows two women who have been friends all their lives but grew apart. one, meredith, finds out her husband has been scamming everyone with his financial investment business and she has nowhere to turn but to her former best friend, connie. connie opens her home and her heart to her, as she is lonely from losing her husband to cancer and her grown daughter to a misunderstanding. the women lean on each other and learn to live life and to love life again. there is an additional character in the area of nantucket. having never been there, the author did a pretty good job of making me love it, and want to go there someday.
