You cannot have too many design books when you are having fun.

And that is just what I'm doing, having fun trying out different types of yarn, different types of patterns in different types of skills, and being able to produce not so many clothing items as designs of shawls, pillows, and alike. There is just something tactful and fun about having the book in your hand, sitting nearby as you are attempting to produce what you see. I already have the material in the tools that just needed the inspiration and the direction that this book supplies. My real target is the gallery of luxury - mohair samples shown on pages 8 to 9. If something useful comes from this, that is all right also. For the technically inclined, I must say that the pictures are very descriptive, and there are diagrams of how to do some of the most fundamental basics, such as the thumb cast-on method. You will not catch me doing it, but there are also details on how to include things like sequins and beads.
