Silent Summer

By: Rickard, Marty

Tony, a tough, all-state football player, moves to a small Iowa town and falls in love with Sarah, the prettiest girl he has ever seen. The problem is this flaxen-haired beauty with crystal eyes doesn't talk. She communicates by writing on her notepad.

Shortly after arrival, Tony does a favor for Sarah's sister and lands in jail. Then Sarah's mother thinks he's too old for Sarah, but she hits on him. There are many problems and some good times too, as they battle through a long, silent summer.

This is not a story of puppy love. It's a story that will slap you in the face. It sizzles like a fat, juicy steak, but it chews easily. Join Tony and Sarah as they work through their silent summer and then move on to plan the craziest, most grizzly murder this small town has ever experienced--a murder so mysterious that even those who were there didn't see a thing.

Will Tony and Sarah ever overcome the obstacles and spend life together? This story has all the answers.
