Silent Noise follows the poetic, surreal, and fantastical adventures in poetry of Micah Smith, a young kid who cannot hear or speak, and who decides to go on a quest to share his poetry with the world. Along the way, he encounters numerous poets and people, ranging from the intense, anarchic, and competitive poet Vanguard, to the beautiful and enchanting Ghost Girl, to the friendly but savvy business-kid Milton; Micah finds himself in places as various as art festivals and pastures, all while sharing his poetry. The experiences provide a template for Micah to hone his craft and to learn about the poetry that other people have to offer, and to learn about the silent noise that exists even in the most unexpected of circumstances.
