Geir Dolonen-Marthinussen was born in 1970, he's married and has 2 children. He lives in a small town on the west coast of Norway and work in the aluminum industry. He served as a rifleman/radio operator during his draft, he did one tour in Lebanon in UNIFIL XXIX and has since 2012 done volunteer work for the Norwegian veterans association NVIO. In December of 2014, he founded the veterans association Leave no man behind Norge, with the aim of bringing more consciousness around the veterans issue. Also to direct help to those who need it. He is also a local politician. He is also active in the Norwegian Homeguard (Heimevernet.)
