Signs of life in Native rock art

This is a detail scholar work on petroglyphs in Southwest human activities. The numerous artists left their master-pieces as their genesis in cultivating the land and survival. Page 127 is a collection of petroglyph on a boulder with a turtle. Chinese myth told of the land was rested on a turtle. Page 134 is a petroglyph of a thunderbird, in Chinese myth, thunder came from a bird. Page 144 pointed out the Mystery Rock is a hoax created by U of New Mexico students in 1930. However, there were ancient Oracle Bone scripts in different rock art sites, they need to explore and research. Page 243 is a Jornada style pictograph of a mask with a tongue handing out. Is there any connection between this area and Mexico unearthed Sun calendar stone the center man face with tongue sticking out. It is a wonderful reading and learning with brief paper tour of the area.
