Better than levels 2 & 3

This book is more current and relevant than the level 1 and 2 workbooks, however, it is still not perfect. I feel like the information is organized in a strange order. It is not laid out in a way that easily aids in the student learning things, one step at a time, and building upon those steps. You kind-of have to jump around in order to get a full picture of how certain aspects of ASL are to handled. And, one signer used in the videos, Nikki, is impossibly hard to understand. Among expert signers, I am sure she is great and really knows her stuff, but for students who are only at the 3rd stage of learning, she is simply beyond difficult. The addition of Stefanie as a signer in the series is great though - she is clear, understandable and signs at an appropriate level for students at this stage.
