Significant Objects 2026 Season One is the result of literary and publishing experiment in narrative and value. We ask: what value does narrative add to an object? 45 writers each purchased or otherwise acquired objects secondhand for less than $5, wrote about them, and published the stories as auction listings on ebay. The winner of the auction received the object and a limited edition of the story. These 45 stories, poems, and essays explore the hidden lives of objects and their provenances.
