"Sidereus," is a Latin word translating to "Belonging to the stars."The title is a dedication to the muse of the words.Inspired by Rumi and his belief in true love, "Sidereus" is poetry that demonstrates the struggles and aesthetics of finding something so pure in today's generation. It begins with poetic frustration, and leads to adoration. The deviation between anger and affection remains perpetual throughout. With an effort it is portrayed that, despite the detestable moments in the relationship, there are no regrets. Regardless of the accusations of betrayal and foul play, "Sidereus" trails off with an acceptance of rejection and the fight to maintain the purity of being in love with the person, while simultaneously not loving them.Consisting of exactly 30 poems, "Sidereus" is a more accurate visualization of the ups and downs of even the strongest of relationships - with the intention of showing the world (specifically the lovers) - that, to love someone, does not mean to possess them. Love is the act of adoration and remembrance against all odds.
