Midwestern kid Monroe Clark (C. Thomas Howell, The Outsiders) moves to Los Angeles to intern for his lawyer uncle (Terry Kiser, Weekend at Bernie's). But Monroe ends up hanging out at the beach instead and finds himself in the beach volleyball scene. Suddenly, Monroe gets teamed up with former King of the Beach Zack Barnes (Peter Horton, 2 Days in the Valley) to compete in the biggest tournament in the sport.
