In 1921, Dr. Peter Sorenson, a biochemist researcher, trying to scientifically prove reincarnation, stumbled on a remarkable compound. After a year of experimenting with the variant on mice he tested the compound on a human. Evan Broeder was dying, Peter injected the Siddhartha formula along with the genetic material from the white oak tree growing outside the Biowise laboratory into the palm of Evan's hand.
Sixteen years later a teen girl passing by, is compelled to find and touch the tree. All of a sudden, young Sally Durban yells over and over she is Evan Broeder.
Besides the Evan Broeder revelation, the target, a 60 year old white oak tree, died the instant Sally touched it and in less than 24 hours, the tree turned to dust.
Dr. Sorenson came to the conclusion that the tree's spirt died too and Peter deduced that a person tagged like the oak tree would not reincarnate. Would not come back to repeat history.
For financial assistance, Peter presented his proposal to the US government. Convinced of the program's potential the DOJ financed and sanctified the tagger program. And a process to eliminate evil from the Earth in an estimated ten generations began...
