Sicario - On July 22, 1992 Pablo Escobar - the feared leader of the notorious Medellin Cartel - simply walked out of the Envigado prison. The latter was a luxurious facility that he had essentially designed for himself and a selection of his most trusted henchmen. Free from even the minimal restrictions of the Envigado, Escobar was intent on continuing with role as the world's preeminent drug trafficker. This he would do with practiced and unrestrained violence. For the United States Government, it was the last of very many straws. Intent upon ending his savage reign for all time, the decision-makers in Washington threw everything they had into the mix to find him and finish him... to include a covert Special Activity known as The Org.
Succubus - 2003: The U.S.-led invasion of Iraq has taken place. The hunt for Saddam Hussein and the search for his weapons of mass destruction is underway. Meanwhile in North Korea, a nuclear research scientist wants to defect. The "Org" is tasked to bring her out.
Mr. Sheehan is a native of Pittsburgh and a resident of Northern Virginia, the author is a former US Army Officer and Special Agent of the Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), U.S. State Department. His career included criminal investigations and dignitary protection in the Miami and Washington field offices, as well as a tour in MSD - or the DSS Mobile Security Division. With MSD he provided training, tactical support to protective details and emergency security enhancement to high threat embassies and consulates around the world. Assigned overseas, he was a member of the Regional Security Offices in El Salvador, South Africa and China. Prior to retirement, he served as the Chief of the DSS Counterintelligence Division.
