Shy of a Clue

Shy is a beautiful black horse with three white socks and a white stripe down her forehead. Her real name is "Shy of a Clue," because it's common to give horses fancy names, but she is called Shy for short. All she wants is to find her forever home.

A young woman buys her and teaches Shy to walk, trot, and lope, but when the young woman must move away, she passes Shy to a couple with a farm. At the farm, Shy makes friends with all sorts of barnyard animals, but again, this is not her forever home. She is sent someplace else, where she helps give riding lessons to little children. Again, this is not her forever home.

Shy has just about given up on being happy, safe, and loved until she meets a little girl with a twinkle in her eye. Maybe Shy has finally found the owner who will love her forever. Maybe she has found the place where she belongs.
