A Wondrous Boy Who Knows Right from Wrong

This book is about a 13 year old boy who likes to explore, but gets made fun of because he hangs around a black kid. He doesn't care that they make fun of him because he knows that the color of his skin doesn't matter. The beginning of the book starts out very slow and boring. Once you get towards the middle of the book it starts getting exciting. A lot of things start happening in the middle of the book. Shumway is the main character who is small for his age. He is 13. His family lives in a small southern town during the 1950's. His parents work all night long and sleep during the day, so Shumway doesn't get to see them much. I liked this book because it was very exciting and told you good lessons to be taught. This is a good book to buy, but the characters talk different in this book. It is a little hard to read. If you buy this book don't get the expression it's bad when you first start reading it because it just starts off slow. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars because of the excitement and the lessons it taught you. You should seriously consider buying this book. I could read this book over again tons of times.
