I prefer the storybook

The storybook by William Steig is much better than the movie because it is unplugged/screen free!

Funny!

Really funny & sweet. Eddie Murphy as the donkey is perfection comedy of course! The PIXAR characters are amazing to watch & Shrek is a very lovable ogre! This is adult comedy on the lines of Rocky&Bullwinkle, more sophisticated jokes that kids wouldn't get. Good movie, u almost forget that it's animated! Good bonus features!

Scratched

The DVD came scratched. It still plays but we have to skip some scenes when it freezes.
