About the Author

M. Friscic-Geiger was bitten by the writing bug during her teenage years. After watching her mother work tirelessly on her own book, she took that same fire and passion to create one of her own. Having been an educator for 31 years, the greater part of my teaching career at P. S. 60 in Woodhaven Queens with a large percentage of Spanish speakers, inspired the idea for a dual language book. She hopes her past, present, and future students, as well as her two sons, will enjoy Show Me a Snowflake. She has plans for new work to come with a main character created as a tribute to her father who worked for the United Nations. She hopes to recount travels far and near in her future writings.
