Shout It from the Rooftops: What the Bible Says for a New Era

By Jason Dye

Perhaps like Jason, you are coming out of a form of Christianity that was very rules-oriented, terrifying, and/or abusive. Yet, you still grapple with your identity as a Christian. You think there is more to Christianity than what you see on TV or what you saw in the pulpit. Maybe the Bible isn't just a bunch of clobbering verses patched together. Maybe Jesus wasn't just a name you're supposed to believe on, but someone more. You still want to be a Christian, but you have questions about science, sexuality, the Bible, and rules. The religion doesn't seem to free. This book is for you. You're uncomfortable with the ways your faith is presented by preachers, politicians, and pundits. They seem at odds with the Jesus of the Gospels. You want to know what love and justice have to do with each other. This is your book. For those who wonder how to reconcile science with Genesis, who believe Jesus loves them but not the church. If somehow you still believe the Bible may have something to say, this book is for you.
