At the ripe age of twenty-two, I found myself at a crossroads. My life had been overcome by perfectionism and to-do lists. The Lord put it on my heart to begin writing a blog. This wasn't just any blog, it was the challenge to find each joy-filled moment nestled in the smallest parts of each day. It was a call to slow down... to open my eyes... to feel the wind... to watch the sun fall, only to rise again. It was a call to find God in every moment.What began as a journey to find these small joys slowly manifested in to complete abandon and adoration of who Jesus is. Seeking these small joys suddenly led me straight to One undeniable, inescapable, steadfast truth: God is faithful.As I wrote, I quickly realized that the freeing power I found in my blog was not my own broken words, but the words of a Mighty Healer. Letter by letter, word by word, post by post, the Lord tore down my strongholds, calling me to fall deeper into love with Him.Soon enough I felt the call to tell my full story. Suddenly I found myself in desperate abandon before the Lord, "just one girl." I prayed that my story of carrying these heavy chains of what I 'should' be doing would resonate with "just one girl." With every aching page, I began to stand taller on the promises of what God 'shall' do. Stand with me? Together?What more can I say? What more can I do, but proclaim His Name?Travel with me, let Him join YOUR journey.
