Good for a math refresher, or to use as a follow along for a course

I bought this book before I started taking algebra 1. The book was moderately well organized; no index, some page numbers didn't match the sections they were pointing to. I loved how the book explained concepts better than my text books and it had sample questions and quizzes. The answers to the quizzes even had "If you chose B, then you might have made this mistake...". I recommend these shortcut series to all the students I tutor in math!
