Have a strong constitution before picking up this book.

This writer pulls no punches. His short stories are raw and violent and graphic. That does not mean, however, that they are not well written or that they don't show certain segments of the population in a true form. My favorite story was about a couple of brothers with a divorced mother with REALLY bad taste in men. One of the brothers dies on a swimming expedition in the local woods but apparently comes back in an altered form. Without using a spoiler, let's just say that he doesn't stay dead and that Mom's latest piece of garbage will regret his actions. Interesting book but make sure you know what you're getting into. Not for the squeamish.
