She gives me a half smile that makes me want her. Not this time though. "Uh unh." I hurry out the bathroom. Whatever I was thinking has flown to the moon. I refuse to give the opportunity for a second chance to come around for me to get caught up. How in the world would I even begin to explain to Tara any of this mess?

Probably should've been thinking about that before I teleported to the bathroom with Dee.

Walking across the room and out the door, more questions begin to weigh me down. My feet feel like stones as I take a couple of more steps towards the stairway. They come to a complete stop once I comprehend whose blurry figure I'm looking at. Darn alcohol!

"Keith where are you going?"

I hear Dee from behind me, but I have a million questions going through my head right now, but the only thing I know for sure right now is...

There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do to wipe the hurt off of Tara's face.
