It is based loosely on the actual war between England and Germany, when both were using occult weapons to battle with each other. Relatively unknown by the masses, World War Two was fought on many levels besides just guns and bullets and bombs. Sherlock Holmes and Watson are assigned by the King to track down and destroy the Verboten Party, which has secretly established an underground base in London and is preparing for massive attacks on the population. This is a grand and exciting new phase of the alternate history/alternate earth series begun by the author which follows Holmes as he rises from being just a detective to a major force in the opposition to the war mongering of the Germans.
