One of my favorite books as a child!

I always loved this story when I was a kid. Its a great mix of "The Phantom of the Opera", "Sherlock Holmes", and a spaghetti western. The drawings really set the mood too, with black lines and sepia tones. They remind the reader of a long-ago time and place, full of rugged romance. A must-have for any begining reader!
