King of the Cowboys Roy Rogers is mistaken for a notorious gunslinger when he arrives in Tombstone, a lawless frontier town. The corrupt mayor has sent for the hired gun in order to strong-arm the town into obeying his will. Roy Rogers and his pal Gabby, unaware of the mayor's plan, agree to help him restore law and order. As Roy begins to suspect the mayor's evil intentions, the real gunman shows up, triggering a final showdown.
