I Do Love Pancakes

And I have actually made the delicious pancake recipe for my nieces that this book is built around. After all, they love pancakes too and I just love my nieces to pieces and they love this book about Sheldon the little green snake, who invites all his forest friends to his mother's kitchen while she is shopping. They start out with her recipe, but everybody adds a little something and soon the batter, blob-like, takes over the kitchen. But, like good children should, they clean up the mess and have the kitchen sparkling by the time Mama Snake comes home. We use this book as an example on the boat when the girls don't put something away. "Clean up you mess, like Sheldon would," we say, and it works miracles.
