What is reality, what is illusion? Miranda and Duncan are pushing the boundaries of science and philosophy, experimenting with thought-energy as they question the over-abundance of Dark Matter.Miranda is killed when an experiment goes awry and Duncan finds himself being pressurised to give up the Project, whilst at the same time trying to cover up the real cause of Miranda's death.An enigmatic girl called Starlight is an embodiment of the reality/illusion dilemma . The 'final act' takes place at Long Meg stone circle on the day of the winter solstice.
