I wrote this book during a very difficult time in my life. During this time I had a great deal of emotional highs and lows, traumatic events, amazing miracles, growth, and reflection. My poems are the raw expression of those experiences. My feelings weren't always pretty or things I was proud of, but they were - and are - mine. I hope reading this inspires you to connect with yours as well, and accept yourself completely and unequivocally.
