practical, fun, and a personality test

What can you say about a blank book? Plenty. It's light weight, filled with good quality paper that doesn't show through, and it's marvelously durable: I carried and used this book for over a year, and it's still in perfect condition, not a page fell out, and the cover is still intact and in nice shape, especially since I've dropped it, bent it open until it lies flat on every single page, and filled it full from fly leaf to fly leaf with scribbles and coffee stains. But that's not even the best part! This book is a traveling Rorschach test and a fun-people attractor. One glimpse of the covers and it will start up conversations, but only with the out-going; the bravest will actually open it up [check out the reactions of your friends and family!] If you don't want that attention, you can always slip it into a brown paper wrapper when in public -- but WHY? The covers are hilarious. Whether you're writing a diary, taking notes at your Rotary meeting, or scratching out ideas for that novel, I say: Buy the whole set! No dignified leather bound diary will ever make you this happy or forge new friendships like this one will!

Ingenious...Highly Recommended Journal!

The second I saw this journal in my local bookstore, I HAD to have it. If you saw my bookshelf you'd know that I have TONS of journals and this one, by far, is the most intriguing. The cover looks like a bona-fide dime-store trash novel with the red-dye page-edging to match. The cover is soft which, for me, is preferred because it makes it much easier to write in. It's larger than the original book. It's not as small as a paperback (trash) novel would be. The moment I bought it I went online (here) and bought the rest of the series. I believe there are 4 in all and I wish there were many more. If you like journals of intriguing cover value that are easy to write in, you'll LOVE this journal series. Get them all! You won't be disappointed. Get this journal (or all 4 of them) for someone who is a writer or someone who loves to journal!
