Loved it in ninth grade

When I first read this book I was in ninth grade, and I remembered that I loved it very much. It was very interesting and kept my attention. That was years ago, and I was able to get my hands on this book again recently to read it once more. While reading it, and once finished, I found I didn't quite enjoy it like I had that first time. I have read many books more than once and loved them just as much as the first time reading, and this is unfortunately one that didn't make the list. Despite not liking it as much the second time around reading it, "Shattered" is a good book with an interesting plot, and I most likely will read it again someday.

Unique mix of horror, mystery, and magic!

I absolutely loved this book!! I really liked the part when Stephanie battled the scarab brooch, and when she got stuck in the mirror. I have never read anything like it. It's a twisted, yet believable story that keeps you wondering what's going to happen next! Any one who likes Stephen King, Dean Koontz, or just horror in general should read this book.

Another good one by John Peel

John Peel combines horror and fantasy in Shattered. I liked the spin on things and a heroic girl who saves the day ( or a whole lot of people who would have been killed) is alwayys good. I encourage anyone 2 read this book along with all the other masterpieces he's wrote up.

Shattered was thrilling and exciting, a lot of suspense.

Shattered is one of my all time favorite books. You'll be on the edge of your seat and never want to put to put it down. John Peel did an excellent job. It is thrilling, exciting, and is filled with suspense. This is a book you'll want to read over and over again
