Keeps you reading definately

I'm really into reading when I have time, sometimes I get carried away. Usually I dont do the series but I read the first book of SEVENS running outta choices.. after the first 20 pages i was hooked.. I was up to reading 2 of the books per day, so i had it finished shortly. It keeps you reading, and yeah the stories may not be totally realistic, but it keeps it interesting, and those things DO happen in real life... I'd recommend this to anyone.

i had almost same problem...

I loved this book. And the rest of the series.I think this is one of the best.I was raped by someone. And it felt like if i dont do anything it might just stop, or if i told someone then it would become real, or it would distroy my prefecy happy family. It hurt and there wright everything i did i didnt want to do anymore. Its an awsome seris. But if your a person with a big heart. You might not be able to read this. I cant exactly remember, but i think it a little graphic. Not a lot, lot. just a little.

An amazing, gripping book you'll never put down!

SHATTERED is an amazing start to the SEVENS series. This series is a totally original idea, yet basic enough to relate to teens everywhere. The Characters in this book relate so well to everyone, yet are different enough that you cannot fully comprehend their troubles. This book is so gripping, that when you finish it, you'll be kicking yourself because you didn't buy all 7 of them. Trust me, when you consider this book, buy all seven at once or you'll be sorry!

Very captivating...

After recently finishing all of my series I'd been reading, it was refreshing to find this new one to start on. As the book progresses you find yourself captivated by the problems of Meena. At first I was afraid that this might be one of those books where all you want to do is slap the main character in the face because of their stupidity, but I'll admit I was relieved when the author made the feelings of Meena actually feel real. After finishing this book I was already wishing I had bought the whole series while I was out. All I have to say is it's a great read, and if I were u make sure u get the second one to so your not in a bind like I am. I can't wait for my next trip to the bookstore. ^_^

"Shattered" Mirror

If the kids from SWEET VALLEY HIGH moved to BEVERLY HILLS 90210 and added in a few AFTERSCHOOL SPECIALS, they would be SEVENS.Seven high school seniors are each going through a hard time:Meena had a crush on the father of the kid she baby-sat for; the feelings were returned, with tragic results. All-American boy Jeremy loves his girlfriend Tara but is about to find out something about himself. Danny is also a musician as well as a smart kid and class clown, but his bipolar medication is not letting him feel anything, good or bad, emotion-wise. Jane has pressure from her parents and her friends to be the perfect student and the perfect musician. Karyn has feelings for her best friend Reed, but is dating his older brother T.J. Reed, also struggling with his thoughts about Karyn, is shining on the football field. Peter was in a car accident a month ago that left him paralyzed. The seven were friends when they were younger. At Peter's 10th birthday party, something horrible happened - something which is revealed little by little as the books progressed - and some of the friendships dissolved. Now, as angst hits home with each teenager, they are starting to come back together. The first novel, SHATTERED, serves as a good beginning for the series, starting with a party akin to that in 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU or other teen screen favorites. SHATTERED introduces you to each character in turn. By the end of the book, you feel sorry for Meena yet want to slap her back to reality. These books are addicting. By being written in present-tense and leading you through the characters' lives on a daily basis for seven weeks straight, the books move quickly and hold your attention. There is a little bit of something for everyone, with universal themes that anyone who has ever been in high school can relate to.
