It is a solid guide which was prepared for the professionals who think career is not an one time decision rather an iterative process, which is refined and redefined as growing professionally. So it is good for lifelong learners and for the ones who has courage to change. Shaping Your Career is a well structured book. It focuses on "discovering business interests", "understanding work values" and "developing the right skills". The basic idea of the book is "you need to know yourself" and "I am here to help". "Knowledge was the power" is an old motto, which has great supporters - one of which was me. Well, it does not mean so much to me now - as the knowledge is abundant at everywhere and anyone can access it thanks to cutting age of technology. I suppose the critical thing now asking the right questions and finding the right answers supported with valid & fresh knowledge. This process takes you to the success. This book tries to help its readers to ask the right questions about their careeer related choices... I wish it had more self-assessment tests and more resources for self-analysis. This is the reason of 4 stars instead of 5... Other than that it is a great guide from a great brand.
