Great reference book

My son uses this as a reference book to check the other shapes book he has for accuracy. My son is 2 but due to his autism his mind has been allowed to advance quickly by means of learning shapes. However, he started with the little kid shapes books so he uses this reality based, photography book to compare the elementary shapes in his original books to see if he is understanding them correctly (as well as if mommy is right). This book has also made him want to look for shapes in his room with his other shapes books.

Reading wonderful photographs

Tana Hoban's photographs offer a wonderful way to "read" the world with young children before they read words.

Fun!

This is such a fun book that teaches children to look around their world for objects and shapes. Another one my children love is 'What Is Round?'
