Grief can shatter the soul when left to fester. Shaped, it can become a weapon.
Due to an inexplicable storm, Eldi loses his entire world. He seeks solace in stone and craftsmanship amid his mother's disappearance, desperately trying to create something where there wasn't anything before. However, Eldi's mentor takes advantage of his grief, pushing him beyond his boundaries, the rules, and his weakness. He is shaping him to become something more.
The world around Eldi begins to appear distorted and distant as his grasp on his own identity deteriorates, dissociation bleeding into his every move. The line between growing stronger and becoming someone he no longer recognizes begins to blur.
This is a story about loneliness, about figuring out your own path, and about those who give you a path when you're too broken to see it.
