Whiskey Creek was rapidly becoming a ghost town. The mines had closed, taking with it the miners and most of the residents. Shops and saloons were closing due to a lack of patrons. Ever since the death of his wife and young son Sheriff Clay Shannon was ready to hang up his star in search of a new life. A former deputy, Pedro "Pete" Rodriguez comes to offer Sheriff Shannon an offer. He'd like the Sheriff to ride back to Los Santos, a small town in New Mexico, to help a local woman, Charlotte Alvarez, protect her property and family from a corrupt and greedy man, King Kruger. Shannon is not interested in continuing with the law until Charlotte herself pleads her case and offers him the position of U.S. Marshal granted by the governor. Once there, Shannon begins to investigate King Kruger and his corrupt, bloodthirsty men as U.S. Marshal. But things are not as easy as they may appear and Shannon has a tough time defending his new friends and bringing justice to this small town.
