Shaman's Blood

Dr. Jessie Griffin returns home too late to save her Aunt Aggie, but inherits Aggie's money, land, and business. Now Jessie must use her psychic and shamanic abilities, kept under wraps from her colleagues, to solve not only her aunt's murder but the murders of several elderly citizens of a local retirement community. It seems Aggie at 103 was still doing research and her research into the folk magic of Western Pennsylvania immigrants placed her in the path of a dark shaman intent on keeping secrets that reach back in space and time. Jessie must reclaim her psychic and shamanic powers if she is to understand the origin of the deadly predator and the predator's magic. Dr. Jan Whitmore from Laurel Mountain University helps Jessie investigate clues left with each death. And new admirer Detective David Adair adds information to aid Jessie as she unravels this twisted tale of history and genealogy. This she must do quickly if she is to escape the dark shaman now stalking her. This description may be from another edition of this product.
