He must find the truth and stop the murders before the government buries it along with him. We were sitting in a sedan a block from the raid. Swat was in places waiting for us. As the sedan slammed to a stop all four of us jump out and headed for the house. Swat was heading up the stairs with a ram. Within seconds the door and its locks shattered in the air.Team Bravo and Charlie started into the building. As Delta ascended the stairs you could hear doors shatter and flashbangs exploding. We could hear the commotion below but we were already up the stairs to our post, pretty sure the tenants knew who was coming. Our door shattered with the help of a ram, the lead threw in two flash bombs. After two loud pops and a flash we entered. "Living room secure." "Kitchen secured."It was now me and the lead. Only two rooms left, mine was on the right. Turning the knob, the door flung open and I swept the room from left to right. I saw the brief flash as the pain struck my chest. It hit me hard and fast. I took less than a second before my instincts took over and my clip was unloaded.The lead came in behind me. He secured the gun, then was on his radio calling for medical to our location. "Delta, Medic top level, Officer down."
