Meet John Cope.

He's a middle-class man, in a middle-class neighbourhood, in a middle-class bubble ... and he's just simply had enough.

His middle-class son was bullied at his middle-class school by a 'problem' child.
A child with known "issues" but given a chance at a "good school", to try to give him a better chance in life. A shot at pulling himself out of a future of juvenile detentions, and probably, eventually, prison. Instead, the boy decided to cause more "issues", bigger "issues", which included bullying John's son.

A lot.

Relentlessly.

Violently.

John got involved, That didn't work.
The school got involved. That didn't work.
The police got involved. That didn't work.

In a middle-class world, the middle-class consequences aren't quite harsh enough.
The boy received a warning, a telling off, and a week off school to 'think about what he's done'.
Then he just came back as if nothing had happened.

Well, that wasn't the outcome that John was hoping for.

And the aftermath, well, that went as well as can be expected.

Retribution.
Punishment.

Just ruined Danny's life, and John's life ... and his wife's ... and their other little boy's.
For years.

So, it was time this meek, mild-mannered, unthreatening, quiet, law-abiding man showed the bullies of this generation what happens when you pick on the wrong family.
To ruin this boy's life like his family's had been ruined.
To make him pay ... properly.
Real justice.

To show the world that polite and kind people can't just be walked all over, picked on and laughed at.

It was time that this worm turned ...

... after tea, obviously.
