Today, the United States of America is about as united as a bunch of vultures sitting on top of a beached whale, each fighting for their square foot of carcass. Soon, our nation will be no more than a well-picked skeleton and we will all be asking ourselves...what happened? Looming over the carcass of our once great country is a growing central government, promising to provide us with all of our needs and, in exchange, (this part is in very small print) to take what is left of our freedoms. "Shall Not Perish" begins six decades ago during the author's childhood and details the increasing selfishness, apathy, and dependency that are currently collapsing our economy and shredding the social fabric of our nation. In bringing to remembrance a time when caring relationships, honor, and honesty were more important than material things, "Shall Not Perish" calls us all to a higher standard of commitment to faith, each other, and freedom.
