Shaker Madison first encounters the violent murderer while working for the Harrisburg police when someone strangles a prostitute and stuffs the woman into a suitcase, dumping her body down by the river. As Madison trains Barrett to serve as a K-9 officer, he gets a second chance at life and to crack the case. However, both of them must enter a dark and unforgiving world of jealousy, hatred and murder, but with Barrett by his side, Madison is determined to find the killer and expose the truth
