Stunning

There is something addictively clever about this book that simply discusses... what shadows do when the sun goes down. Which is travel to the fantastical world of shadows only to return into action the next day. The writing is sing-song and clever, and the shadow-based illustrations are a blast at which to look.

A great rhyming story of something everyone has, a shadow.

This is a great book for the yougest of readers. The pictures are graphically interesting for 1 year olds with their bold and contrasting images. As you read aloud, the sing-song of the rhyming verses keeps great interest for the listener. These shadows are very busy doing familiar tasks and the story is so creative both young and old will enjoy it.
