Shadows on Light is a supernatural, spiritual, millennial thriller about the complexities of good and evil during modern times. Two ex-specially trained military men who are competing in a challenge maneuver in Southern Jamaica, are both struck by lightning. They survive their life-threatening injuries, and learn that they have been blessed with unique gifts to heal hurting people.

Their dramatic confrontation is a modern retelling of the biblical account of Michael the Archangel's battle with Lucifer the Satan, from the Book of Revelation. The protagonist hero is an ex-Navy SEAL turned Catholic priest, who is pastor of a Black Catholic church parish in Southwest Louisiana. The antagonist-villain is an ex-Norwegian Commando turned Saudi Arabian lobbyist, who also happens to be a cult leader for a millennial-doomsday cult. Their rivalry centers on youth in peril.

The power of the spiritual within the timeless battle of good versus evil is examined, along with moral, racial and ecumenical perspectives, which are most timely for U.S. society today.
