As they navigate a web of blackmail, hidden evidence, and shifting alliances, it is revealed that Daniel had been abusive and that Ava suffered a miscarriage due to his violence. The narrative concludes with Julian fasing the choice of testifying against Ava or remaining entangled in their destructive, "choreographed" bond.
