From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible presents the story of salvation in many forms to reach every intellect and personality of humankind. Skimming the surface of Scripture, we can easily glean literal prophecies regarding the coming Messiah from the Old Testament and verify how Jesus fulfills these promises in the New Testament. Before you knew the substance of Christ, he was there in the words of Scripture, lingering in the shadows, from the very beginning.
