Marine Major Sarah Hawk was a Planetary Investigator for the Huggins Institute, the Democratic Federation of Earth's exploratory branch.

Sarah's support and main crew consisted of Captain Kayce Ansari, Warrant Officer Second Warrant Officer Yoshi Han, Betty Sloan, Warrant Officer First Cayla Harper, and Corporal Andrew Dixon.
