Fifteen-year-old twins Lenny and Cassy return to the Kingdom of Duscany to attend the Wizor Ball, but they must escape an insidious trap set by a dark force that has resurrected the baleful shadow wolves before they can save themselves and their friends from certain death. "Guys, look out here," he said. "This is incredible." The others crowded around him, but only Scapita broke the silence. "I've never seen anything like this from the fen in all my years. If the man-thrall manages to break free of the Long Night, then this could be the end of the world." "But that's my sister trapped in there," Lenny whispered.
