I received Shadow Dances as a gift, read it and thought it was a good read, nice pace, nice New Orleans feel. Having temporarily run out of new reading material, I happened to grab it and re-read about a year later. I actually enjoyed it more the second time around. That is truly a rare event. I've been waiting very patiently for a second book and hope one is in the works.

I enjoyed the story line tremendously and especially liked Ms. Ellis' attention to detail and the description throughout the book. She makes me feel as if I were right there in New Orleans and caught up in the story line. Good good good. Ann Hayes
