Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated. - William Shakespeare.
Cheon-Sa Jiah awakens. After her defeat in China as its Moonlight Shadow Empress, the gods awaken the sleeping Shaman Princess and send her off to another Empire in hopes of shaking it to its foundations. In Shades of Moonlight, Cheon-Sa Jiah, the former Moonlight Shadow Empress is but a shadow of her former glory, a shade of Moonlight. Without the great power she once wielded with her voice over the elements, Jiah must learn how to communicate with the world in new ways, and in silence. With new lands before her, Jiah finds the problems of a new empire are not so different than the one she left behind, having failed in her attempts to improve society, Jiah must learn from her mistakes and tread into new territory. Whether she blazes into new ground, or sets that world ablaze, there is more opposition from the entrenched powers that be. And, she must find support in new allies to work within a new system and hopefully bring the changes to an old entrenched society and strengthen a rising empire along its path from an old world into a new world of marvels, for good or ill, its destiny is yet to be determined.
