When one reaches the end of the trail, the hope is for a peaceful and painless transition to whatever awaits us beyond the veil. The lucky ones will spend these moments with family or loved ones while others might just end up at Shade Tree.

Shade Tree, a senior care facility, has seen better days. Most of the residents have no choice but to endure the chipped paint, worn carpets, and bad cuisine but as of late something new has found its way to this second-rate facility.

Murder, mischief, and of all things, magic now roam the poorly lit corridors of Shade Tree. Fate and circumstance have thrown together an odd mixture of good and bad characters, as well as the mystical in the person of an ageless janitor.
