Good resource, even if you've been 'in the field' for years.

As someone who has been researching the relationships among HIV/AIDS, drug use, and sex for nearly 10 years, I approached McCoy and Inciardi's work skeptical that it would offer substantially new insight or information. I was pleasantly surprised. The authors have assembled an impressive array of information which is seldom available outside of scholarly journals. Moreover, their volume is not only interesting and informative, but also highly readable. In sum, both the experienced practitioner and the "green" undergraduate will gain greatly from reading this book. I heartily recommend it
